MMA has seen some of it’s craziest incarnations with tag team MMA (2 versus 2) and team MMA (5 versus 5), but now we have seen a new incarnation that may blow them all away. That new carnation is known as 3 way mma, which uses a modified rule set to bring this new form of action to light. The modified rule set ensures that the fights never go to the ground because there are no takedowns and two guys can team up against one fighter. It is to early yet to know if a 3 way mma fight will take a hold of fans the way tradition MMA has, but much like tag team and team MMA, there is a market out there for this niche product.
