Fight 2 Win is keeping the ball rolling with their events, and they’ve just announced their main event for F2W 144.
Rafael Lovato Jr. will once again be taking the F2W stage, this time against Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa, and on June 19, they’ll be going head to head in the main event of the evening for the light heavyweight gi title.
If you feel like you just saw Lovato Jr. on the stage, you’d be correct. Just weeks ago at F2W 141, he defended the title against Arnaldo Maidana to improve his F2W record to 6-1.
Barbosa is also coming back after a short time away from the promotion. Currently sitting at 1-1 for Fight 2 Win, he most recently competed at F2W 137 in February, where he defeated Roberto Jimenez with an armbar.
Also announced for the card is a match between Edwin Najmi and #3 ranked competitor Jonnatas Gracie. Najmi has had a successful run with the promotion thus far, boasting a 4-1 record and most recently submitting Benson Henderson at F2W 141. Gracie, who won Euros earlier this year, will be making his black belt F2W debut at the event.
Fight 2 Win 144 will take place in Dallas on Friday, June 19 and can be streamed live on FloGrappling.
