It could be said that a highschool wrestling match turns MMA when the referee stays out of the action, and a popular YouTube video shows just this happening in a Monster Match event from November 2010. The match was wrestled in the 103 lb weight class, which just goes to show you how little size really does matter especially considering that these two youths were in the 18 and under category. They get real serious real fast when strikes fly while the two of them are down on the ground. Even though the two may not be trained in MMA, they ended up demonstrating many of the skills that MMA coaches emphasize.
