Rice Brothers Academy Offers Free Training For Members In Financial Distress Due To COVID-19

Following their controversial decision to resume regular classes in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak, Tanner and Matthew Rice of the Rice Brothers Academy in Redding, California, have released a video saying they’re now offering free training for their members who have found themselves in financially difficult situations due to the pandemic.

The brothers, who reopened the gym despite the California government’s mandatory stay-at-home order, shared a video on social media announcing the decision, saying that students who are struggling would be allowed to train at no cost until they “got back on their feet.”

Matthew RiceFor any of our members that have financial issues and can’t afford to train because they were affected by lockdowns we will let you come train for free until you get back on your feet . Stay safe and stay clean ! #shastastrong #reddingca #reddingbjj #reddingjiujitsu #freetraining #proudcaoch #supportthecommunity #endthelockdowns
