Women’s MMA pioneer Ronda Rousey has given birth to her first child with her husband, fellow MMA fighter Travis Browne.
Rousey announced the birth of La’akea MakalapuaokalanipŠBrowne on social media last night.
La’akea’s name is Hawaiian in a nod to her father’s heritage; Browne’s father is a Native Hawaiian, and his mother is of European ancestry. She is Rousey’s first child, while Browne has two other children from a previous marriage.
Rousey announced her pregnancy back in April, sharing that she was four months along at the time with a due date of September 22. She married Browne in 2017.
