Ronda Rousey’s Coach To Miesha Tate: “She’s gonna get a lot of damage and I’m gonna make sure it’s not healthy for her career.”

Many mixed martial arts (MMA) enthusiasts are not terribly excited to witness a third fight between Miesha Tate and current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, Ronda Rousey. Rousey’s trainer Edmond Tarverdyan, however, says bring it on.

Edmond Tarverdyan told MMA Fighting

“[Tate]’s been doing a bit better, it seems like for her,” Tarverdyan said. “But it’s cool. I like that fight. I’m real excited for that fight, actually. Because this time I’m going to make sure that Miesha Tate gets really punished and knows what she’s getting into. It’s not gonna be good for her career. She’s gonna get a lot of damage and I’m gonna make sure it’s not healthy for her career.”

In fact, Rousey’s coach has said he is “excited” for a potential third fight between the two, as he believes Rousey will make an example of her competitor. This isn’t surprising news as many sports headlines have recently proclaimed: “Coach: Miesha Tate is ‘gonna get hurt’ in third Ronda Rousey fight and it won’t be healthy for her career.” Tarverdyan has even gone on to boast about the severity of the potential win, stating “This girl (Tate) is gonna get hurt in there. She’s not gonna know where she is.”

Rousey won the first two fights, however Tate endured until the third round during their second match, which took place in December 2013. This makes Tate is the only competitor to make it out of the first round while battling Rousey.
