Stipe Miocic Knocks Out Fabrício Werdum to win UFC Heavyweight Title. In the main event of UFC 198 in Brazil, it only took one punch for Miocic to win the championship in the first round. The 33-year old Cleveland native looked sharp against 38-year old Brazilian who lost in front of his home town crowd.
Werdun was knocked out cold, but Stipe threw a few more punches before the ref stopped the fight. When the fight ended, Miocic, jumped over the cage and shouted that Cleveland had a champion. After the bout, Werdum vowed that he would be champion again.
