Geometry is a cruel mistress. One minute you’re on your feet totally fine, the next you’re caught in the quickly diminishing apex of a triangle while shirtless in a room full of people.
Which is what happened to one K1 fighter on June 15. He gets taken down swiftly during the early seconds of a cage match. You can tell by his reaction that he’s not overly familiar being triangled, and may have even believed he was safe…until the walls started closing in.
The result is a submission so quick even the audience and announcers don’t know exactly what happened.
