Although it was originally rumored that the two would be fighting in Mexico City this month, Brian Ortega will now face off against Chan Sung Jung “The Korean Zombie” at the second ever UFC event in South Korea on December 21. This was confirmed by both fighters on their Instagram pages earlier this evening.
The two were originally scheduled to fight last weekend, but now, the fight has been moved to a different month and an entirely different continent. The reasons for why the original fight plans fell apart are thus far unclear.
Alexandre Pantoja vs. Matt Schnell and Volkan Oezdemir vs. Aleksandar Rakic are the other fights that are currently announced for the event.
