The much anticipated release of Street Fighter 5 video game is due any day now and word on the street is that a Brazilian female character will be featured in the all-new Street Fighter.
Famitsu, a Japanese video game magazine, has already posted images of the new character – Laura – grappling with Ryu as well as performing a number of moves. While Blanka, the other Brazilian character, uses a version of capoeira, Laura’s fighting style is Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Famitsu’s online post shows new street fighter 5 character represents Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Like Blanka, however, the character also has some lighting-based attacks.
