UFC 202 Medical Suspensions

With three-fourths of the fights ending by finish, and one of the bloodiest main events in MMA history, UFC 202 had no shortage of suspensions.

Conor McGregor, who got some redemption for his first UFC loss at the hands of Nate Diaz, will be out until October 20. He also must have an ankle fracture on his left foot cleared by an orthopedic doctor.

Neil Magny will also need clearance from an orthopedic doctor before he sees action. He will not be back before September 20.

Artem Lobov must get an X-ray on his right leg and ankle. He will also be out at least until September 20, as will his opponent, Chris Avila.

Diaz, who lost via majority decision to Conor, will be out until September 11.

It should come as no surprise that Glover Teixeira will be out of action for a while. After suffering a brutal 13-second knockout at the hands of Anthony Johnson, Teixeira will be out until November 19. Johnson has not been suspended.

Other knockout victims on the card will also be out of action for a while. Rick Story will be out until October 5, as will Hyun Gyu Lim, Lorenz Larkin, Marvin Vettori, and Takeya Mizugaki.

Sabah Homasi and Max Griffin will be absent until October 20.
