The UFC has offered Damian Maia a fight against former Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler, but Maia isn’t exactly happy about it.
I don’t understand what is happening because Dana said right after the fight that I was the next [in line for the welterweight title].
If he does not get the fight and current Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley chooses to do a rematch against Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, Damian said he hopes he can fight on the same card so that he can fill in if one of them is injured.
There was also some interesting talk of a rematch against Anderson Silva and even a fight against GSP.
