Rising UFC flyweight Rachel Ostovich suffered a broken orbital in an alleged domestic dispute with MMA fighter Arnold Berdon. The attack happened November 19th in Honolulu. Ostovich was scheduled to fight Paige VanZant for the UFC at New York’s Barclay Center on January 19th. Ostovich withdrew from the event November 20th due to her injuries.
“A very unfortunate incident occurred Sunday night with Rachael Ostovich that ended with her suffering a fractured orbital and other injuries,” said her team in a statement.
Ostovich has reportedly filed a restraining order against Berdon. Local police have opened a felony investigation, though no arrests have been made at this time.
The pair have a daughter, Ruby Rose.
