Balance and stability are crucial in jiu-jitsu, and if you want to avoid getting swept, it helps to be almost as comfortable balancing on your hands as you are standing on your feet.

Obviously, this isn’t an easy endeavor. But learning how to do a handstand can help improve your stability on the mats. Since we’re all in quarantine and getting a bit bored anyway, we may as well learn how to literally kick up our heels and view the world from a different perspective.
