Chael Sonnen considers former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture a mentor. It was Couture who helped train Sonnen in Greco-Roman wrestling and helped him get started in his MMA career when they trained together at Team Quest in Portland, Oregon. Sonnen repaid Couture for his coaching, mentorship, and friendship by not holding back at all at the recent Roast of Couture as part of the NCAA Wrestling Championships this past week. The Gangster from the Mean Streets of West Linn was in rare form as he panned his Couture.
