After being dethroned as the king of the UFC featherweight division by Conor McGregor at UFC 194, Jose Aldo and his team, which included his wife, returned to his locker room where Aldo sat on the floor and needed consoling for at least 13 minutes before the locker room camera was redirected to face the ceiling. The video, which lacked sound, still captured the emotions of Aldo and his Nova Uniao team after he was knocked out in 13 seconds for his first loss in a decade. Aldo went to end of the matted room and sat down on the mat facing the wall with a towel draped over his head. He stayed in that position for the duration of the coverage as his coaches and team tried to console and support him. His wife can be seen wiping away tears from her eyes as she strolled around the room with team members occasionally checking up on her.
