Since retiring from MMA, Former WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown has successfully transitioned from fighter to coach at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, FL. MMAfighting.com’s Ariel Helwani spoke to Brown about his experience cornering street fighting legend Kimbo Slice for his recent fight against Dada 5000 at Bellator 149. Brown elaborates on Slice’s training and conditioning for the fight as well as Dada’s health scare after the fight. As Slice’s coach, Brown believes Slice would need to work on his conditioning in order for him to fight again in the future. Watch the interview below.
