What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of a double leg counter?
If you’re anything like me, it’s “sprawl.” That’s what I’ve been taught since I was a white belt.
UFC fighter Jessica Penne, however, has a different answer to that question: harai goshi.
Has anyone ever tried this counter? If so, how easy is it to pull off?

A great alternative rather than fighting against a shot (sprawling) is to use your opponents energy by redirecting it for your own benefit as seen in this clip
