Andre Galvao is making his return to MMA.
He made the announcement in a post on Instagram,
He hasn’t revealed which promotion he’s signed with or when he’s expected to have his first fight.
His MMA return comes after a 10+ year hiatus, his last fight being held on October 9, 2010 at Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Noones II which resulted in a TKO loss to the eventual UFC Welterweight Champion, Tyron Woodley.
Galvao is 5-2 in MMA, with 1 KO and 3 Submissions.
It is currently unclear if his new deal will affect the Gordon Ryan matchup at ADCC 2022.
