Derrick Lewis has added another knockout win (and a number of unforgettable quotes) to his resume following his defeat of Aleksei Oleinik in their main event UFC fight over the weekend.
During the fight, Lewis, who’s a blue belt in jiu-jitsu, had to contend with Oleinik’s black-belt-level grappling. Though he was nearly finished off, he pushed through and reminded all of us that he’s certainly not “just a blue belt.”
In a post-fight interview (after declaring that he had to “take a sh*t” in a previous interview), Lewis shared his thoughts on his big win and declared himself “one of the baddest blue belts in Texas.” Maybe even the world.
