Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has just expressed his views on a rather controversial topic. According to Mayweather his comments on UFC fighters like Connor McGregor and Ronda Rousey were taken out of context. First, Mayweather stated that he has never expressed any negative views about McGregor, Rousey or any other UFC fighter for that matter. He also stated that it was the UFC fighters that constantly mention his(Mayweather’s) name. The boxer said he found this unusual because he had no beef with them.
In a conversation with FightHype.com, Floyd Mayweather made it clear that he is not a UFC fighter and he cannot get involved in verbal wars with UFC fighters. He also stated that he was more interested in fellow boxers.For good measure, Mayweather added that he had no intention of fighting in the MMA set up. However, he conceded that he might get involved with the MMA in future as a promoter. Hopefully, this will clear the air and lead to better relations between Floyd Mayweather and UFC fighters like Connor McGregor and Ronda Rousey.
