World-renowned kickboxer and former UFC heavyweight talent, Pat ‘HD’ Barry, has just received his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. ‘HD’s’ promotion came under the tutelage of Carlos Gracie Jr pupil, Tony Basile, at the 303 Training Center in Colorado.

Since retiring from combat sports, Pat Barry has been seen training his fiancee and UFC women’s strawweight contender, ‘Thug’ Rose Namajunas. ‘Thug’ is on a 3-fight win streak in the UFC and is on her way to a second attempt at a UFC title.
