Frankie Edgar & Max Holloway To Fight At July’s UFC 240

The third time’s a charm, right? That’s what MMA fans are hoping as they look toward UFC 240, where Frankie Edgar and Max Holloway will fight for the featherweight title.

Holloway, the current featherweight titleholder, has been scheduled to fight Edgar twice before, but the bouts have fallen through each time. First, at UFC 218, Edgar had to pull out due to injury. Then, at UFC 222, Holloway became the one to pull out of the fight due to injury. MMA Junkie has confirmed that both fighters have verbally agreed to the current matchup, so fingers crossed that both fighters stay healthy and injury-free in the leadup to UFC 240, which will take place on July 27.
