Garbriel Arges is the new ACBJJ Middleweight Champion.
Arges took on Otavio Sousa, a teammate, as both men are under Carlos Gracie Jr. (Arges got his black belt from Romulo Barral, who got his black belt under Master Carlos’ student).
Sousa spent the good part of round one trying to pass Arges’ masterful spider guard. Round 2 also started with Arges in guard, but as the two transitioned into a scramble, Arges saw Sousa’s leg and ended the match via kneebar.
