This martial arts instructor is the perfect example of how not to treat your students. I have no idea what this is supposed to accomplish. Sure, you’re students will be scared to death of making a mistake, but they’ll also be scared to death of coming to class, which certainly won’t help your retention numbers.
Don’t get me wrong: I’m all for motivating students. But this…this is uncalled for, and if it’s not illegal, it should be.
