UFC Hall of Famer and former Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes received a hero’s welcome when he walked into Scottrade Center in St. Louis for UFC Fight Night 124 tonight.
Only months before, Hughes had been in a terrible vehicle accident, and some doctors worried that he would never be able to walk again.
But walk he did, even though it was with a limp.
Hughes was greeted by UFC President Dana White.
It’s good to see Matt Hughes at a UFC event again, even though it’s outside the cage rather than in it.
