The “Notorious” Conor McGregor may have yet another name to add to his ever-expanding list of foes: The Almighty Himself.
In a recently-released video, Pastor Donnie Romero called on God to strike Conor down with lightning.
The pastor’s vitriol towards Conor stems from the Irishman’s blasphemous comments in a TMZ interview from December, where McGregor claimed he could “whoop” Jesus’ “ass.”
Pastor Romero may not have to wait for lightning, though. Next month, Conor McGregor will be taking on the devout and passionately pious lightweight champion of the UFC, Rafael dos Anjos.
And dos Anjos would no doubt love to teach McGregor a lesson in piety.
