Robson Gracie finally had the opportunity to continue his family business at Bellator, submitting Brysen Bolohao in this debut fight.
It’s a victory Gracie had to be patient for following the disappointing cancellations of multiple matches since his intended move into MMA was announced in 2015. The most recent cancellation was in October 2018 after competitor Jamal Pottinger missed weight by 6 pounds.
In this long-awaited matchup Gracie showed promising and familiar dominance, controlling the back while dealing hits before moving into full RNC gear for a first round submission.
