Penn State alumnus Bo Nickal is making his MMA debut in an amateur bout against middleweight David Conley.
Nickal’s wrestling career earned him 3 NCAA wrestling championships and a submission grappling superfight against Gordon Ryan under hybrid rules, where he lasted 13 minutes before being submitted. As a current American Top Team athlete, he was a part of Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal’s camp for the rematch against UFC middleweight champion Kamaru Usman.
His opponent, David Conley, holds an amateur record of 1-0, earning his win by guillotine.
The event streams live on September 24 on FiteTV.
