BREAKING: Fernando ‘Terere’ Vs. Vitor Ribeiro At Polaris 4

It’s official, ladies and gentlemen. Two of the most talented athletes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu are going to square off at Polaris 4.

On October 29, at the Lighthouse Centre in Poole, England, fifth-degree BJJ black belt Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro will lock horns with third-degree black belt Fernando “Terere” Augusto.

The match was announced today on Polaris Professional Jiu Jitsu Invitational’s Facebook page.

Ribeiro is a former mixed martial artist, and he has held world titles in both Shooto and Cage Rage. Twelve of his twenty MMA wins were earned via submission.  He also holds numerous first place finishes in BJJ tournaments.

Augusto had better be careful unless he wants to end up as another victim on Shaolin’s list.

Terere is a rock star in the world of competitive BJJ, as can be seen in the first thirty seconds of this highlight video.

But don’t think for a second that Terere is all show. Not only does he have a highly active and aggressive style, but numerous gold medals in the Worlds and Brazilian National Championship show that he can back up all of his hype.

Tickets are on sale for Polaris 4. Those who can’t make it to Poole can watch the preliminary matches for free on YouTube. Fans can watch the main event on pay-per-view.
