Craig Jones And Jake Shields Set To Collide At Polaris 6, The Countdown Begins

Jake Shields and Craig Jones are set to collide at Polaris 6 this Saturday, February 17.

Craig Jones is an up-and-coming star on the competitive Brazilian jiu-jitsu scene, having won NAGA and IBJJF Championships at purple belt, and having tapped out grappling star Leandro Lo via an RNC at ADCC last year. He also tapped out former Bellator fighter and former two division UFC title contender Chael Sonnen.

Jones will have the chance to tap out another UFC title contender when he takes on Jake Shields. Jake is a BJJ black belt under Cesar Gracie and a member of MMA’s notorious scrap pack, along with the Diaz brothers and Gilbert Melendez. Shields is also the former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion.

Shields won’t be the only former UFC fighter on the card, either. Former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson will also be competing, taking on the entertaining and controversial AJ Agazarm.
