The D’arce choke is one of the favorite chokes for side control players. After all, once your opponent starts turning his head into you (most BJJ practitioners aren’t naive enough to turn away from you and expose their back), the neck is just right there for the taking.
The problem is, many of us have short arms. Some of us, too, face opponents with wide upper bodies.
