How many times have you gotten your opponent’s leg, hooked your arm under her heel, and gotten…nothing!
I know it has happened to me many times. In fact, it still happens almost every time I attempt a heel hook.
Thankfully, Kent Peters from ZombieProofBJJ has put this great — and incredibly short (it’s less than a minute) — video together showing some details for finishing the heel hook. The details are taken right out of Gordon’s Ryan’s match against Dan Borovic.
