Chris McKarski, a brown belt under James Clingerman, posted a video to his Facebook timeline that gives us an alternate look at hitting the scissor sweep without a gi. Getting a grip on the back of a person’s head can often make this technique difficult to do without the assistance of a gi’s grips. However, this variation on the grips could offer a solution that many of us have needed. Give it a watch, and see what you think.
