The lasso guard can be one of the toughest guards to pass. I especially like to use it against strong, standing passers, as the grip gives you powerful control over one side of the opponent’s body.
That lasso hook entanglement is so darn tough to deal with! If you want to counter the hook and pass, you are going to need some solid technique.
