Plan B Side Control Escape

The first side control escape that you likely learned is to replace the guard with the knee inside. This is highly effective and should be in every jiu-jitsu student’s list of most important escapes.

But like any other move in jiu-jitsu, there is a counter – your opponent can use their hand to block your leg.

When one door closes, another door opens and you get an opening for the underhook. Try this technique to escape side control to turtle.

I also show a counter to kimura attack. Check it out!
