Grappling is one of the most important arts a police officer can know. It allows an officer to safely take a suspect to the ground and control him without causing him any serious harm.
Had the police officer in this video known more grappling, things probably would have turned out differently for him.

I agree completely. There are more people on the streets right now then ever before who are competent ground fighters….first responders need to stay safe and be aware of the real dangers of ground fighting a more experienced individual.
