Rafael dos Anjos Wants Ronda Rousey To Join Kings MMA

Life has been tough on Ronda Rousey lately. After she was beaten down and knocked out at UFC 193, her bright future suddenly seems uncertain. Audiences are used to seeing her dominate every match but here she was the one dominated. The performance has left some people wondering if she had the right game plan. They say her corner may not have been giving her proper advice.

All of these have led to speculations that Rousey might switch trainers to get better guidance. Kings MMA has been mentioned as a possible new headquarters for the former champion. Despite the devastating loss, she still has one of the most recognizable names in the sport and has broken attendance records with the last fight she headlined. “Rowdy” is likely to have a rematch with Holly Holm and she’ll have to be in the best shape of her life to take back the title.

As early as now, champ Rafael Dos Anjos welcomes Rousey to Kings MMA where he trains. He thinks it would be a good move for Rousey. Rafael Cordero, the head trainer, has almost three decades of MMA experience. He has guided students into becoming champions. Perhaps a fresh perspective to fighting is what’s needed to get her back on track.

“I think it would be great for her to come here,” Dos Anjos told MMA Fighting. “We have a great energy here. Not just because I’m training here, but Master Rafael Cordeiro has over 28 years of experience in MMA. It would be great for Ronda.

“For sure, we’re going to have a great camp for her here. Great training partners. Great coaches. Master Cordeiro is going to have a great fight gameplan for her. If she comes, she’ll have everything she needs to get her belt back.”
