Eight-time IBJJF World Champion Michelle Nicolini is making her return to Polaris for the promotion’s twelfth installment. The ONE Championship fighter is no stranger to the Polaris stage, and this time, she’ll be going up against the UK’s Vanessa English. English is also a Polaris veteran, and although she doesn’t quite have Nicolini’s BJJ record, she’s proven herself to be one of the best jiu-jitsu athletes in the UK. She’s medaled at Worlds, and last year, she won the European Open.
Nicolini, also an ADCC champion, has been building up her MMA career in recent years. Back in July, she defeated ONE Championship superstar Angela Lee, raising her own star even higher. As much fun as it’s been to watch her in the cage, grappling fans will still be very eager to see her in action in a grappling competition once again.
Polaris 12 will take place on Saturday, November 30 and can be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
