There was no shortage of action at Polaris 3 with the submission-only match between Tonon and Palhares providing some remarkable fireworks. In one segment of the fight, the Brazilian was on his knees and the American was standing up trying to get a head lock. Suddenly, Palhares grabbed his leg with the left arm and his neck with the right. He then flipped him over to the mat for a sick slam that made him look almost weightless — an incredible display of power. Fortunately for Tonon, he was able to land well to his side and get up quickly as if nothing happened.
