Days after announcing a group of high-level matches for F2W 137, Fight 2 Win has now released multiple matchups for their 138th event, which will take place in Dallas, TX.

Headlining the event will be a match between Gianni Grippo and Matheus Gabriel. Grippo, a 2018 World Champion, hasn’t competed for the promotion since 2017 at F2W 51. However, he’s built himself a flawless record for the promotion, winning all four of his F2W matches against competitors that include Osvaldo “Queixinho” Moizinho and Dustin Akbari. Returning to the stage after almost 100 shows to increase his record to 5-0 would be quite the statement, but Gabriel isn’t going to make it easy for him. Gabriel, a black belt only since mid-2018, has been making a statement for himself in the competitive scene, winning both Worlds and Pans last year. He currently boasts a 3-1 F2W record, losing only to 2019 ADCC Champion Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes at F2W 127, and he’ll be hungry to make up for that loss against Grippo.

Rafael Lovato Jr. will also be making his return to the stage for this event, this time against ADCC runner-up Vinicius Ferreira. Lovato, who recently revealed his battle with a rare brain condition, has been getting some seriously impressive wins on the mats lately, including victories against Jake Shields and Richie Martinez at Polaris 9 and the Jiu-Jitsu World Festival, respectively. He’ll have a worthy opponent in Ferreira, who made it all the way to the finals at ADCC last year before ultimately losing to double-champ Gordon Ryan. He put up a valiant fight against Kaynan Duarte at F2W 136, and given that he’ll have another chance to shine against Lovato Jr., we can expect to see some serious fireworks between these two.

Finally, Jaime Canuto and Yago de Souza will have a brawl of their own earlier in the night. Both of these competitors are still building their records with Fight 2 Win, but they’ve been steadily piling up a list of impressive accolades over the years. Canuto is a Brazilian and American Nationals winner who won silver at No-Gi Worlds last year, and de Souza won both Pans and Euros in 2016. These middleweight grapplers are sure to bring the action as the main event of the evening draws nearer and nearer.

You can see all these matches, plus many more, when Fight 2 Win 138 streams live from Dallas on March 14 on FloGrappling!
