If You’re Not Watching Garry Tonon Vs. Davi Ramos This Weekend, You’re Doing It Wrong

Garry Tonon is back on the mats this weekend for the first time since his impressive ADCC run, and his match is one you won’t want to miss.

Tonon will be facing 2015 ADCC champ and UFC fighter Davi Ramos in the main event of Fight 2 Win 132, which takes place in Hawaii. The match will mark Ramos’ debut on the famous stage, while Tonon will be hoping to improve on his spotless F2W record of 3-0. Adding further excitement to the event is the fact that this will only be Tonon’s second time competing in a grappling-only event since 2017 — he’s been focusing on his MMA career for ONE Championship, and his award-winning performance at ADCC has everyone even more hyped up to see what he’ll be able to do against an athlete of Ramos’ caliber.

These two won’t be the only ones making the F2W stage quake this weekend, though. The co-main event will be a master black belt featherweight no-gi title match between multiple-time No-Gi World Champion Baret Yoshida and local black belt star Jordan Gomez. Tracey Goodell, who is Hawaii’s first female black belt and was the F2W female black belt gi fighter of the year in 2018, will also have a match against 2019 ADCC competitor Jena Bishop, which will be for the master bantamweight black belt gi title. And of course, these exciting bouts will be preceded by hours of action from a card full of local talent looking to make their mark within the promotion and beyond.
