After an action-packed event in Houston, Fight 2 Win is making its way to Dallas and bringing with it a predictably stacked card filled with superstar black belts and even an Olympic judoka.
The main event will be a no-gi match between Rafael Lovato Jr. and Yuri Simoes. Lovato Jr. is a World Champion in both gi and no-gi, and he’s well acquainted with (and so far undefeated on) the F2W stage. Simoes, a multiple-time ADCC champion, has also found consistent success at Fight 2 Win, and just a couple weeks ago, he won the much-hyped Combat Jiu-Jitsu event.
Another exciting matchup will feature Nathiely de Jesus and Talita Nogueira competing for the black belt welterweight gi title. De Jesus is a highly decorated athlete, with wins at Pans, Worlds, No-Gi Worlds, and Euros. Nogueira is also a World Champion and has won the IBJJF Rio Open twice.
Other famous faces on this card include Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa, Tracey Goodell, F2W CEO Seth Daniels (who just last week was victorious in the first judo match he’s had in over twelve years), and Olympic judo veteran Ryan Reser. Reser’s match against Erik Kirkegaard will be one of multiple judo matches at the event, showing Daniels’ efforts to include more judo in F2W events.
